While the story itself appears to be a misconception, it hasn’t stopped Beijing from pursuing this exact strategy, seeking silver or even golden linings in every cloud. Having confidently repelled the COVID-19 slow-down, China is set to be the only major economy to register growth this year - much to the envy of its American competitor. If Donald Trump hasn’t managed to stop China, can Joe Biden do it? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Martin Jacques, former Senior Fellow at the Department of Politics and International Studies at Cambridge University and author of When China Rules the World. The US media has really succeeded to brain wash the so-called educated US citizens!!! 99 G Asia G Asia 3 days ago Westerners: What's Christian versus what's not; what's democracy versus what's is not. And the elites in the West enrich themselves at the expense of the working and middle class. Time for a reset. 61 xelakram xelakram 1 week ago (edited) I agree wholeheartedly with this gentleman when he says "America is in decline". It is as clear as the nose on your face! America shows all the signs of decline even down to modes of living and behaviour patterns. 71 tiantian weixiao tiantian weixiao 3 days ago ‘Crisis’ in Chinese is 危機. It consists two Chinese characters, two hanzi. The 1st one 危 stands for crisis. The 2nd one stands for opportunity. Like other Chinese words for example ‘size’, we express it using two characters "尺寸" or "大小"which have opposite meanings. It is called yin yang. Look at yin yang symbol below, they are opposite and can be converted to each other. We think yin and yang are rooted to each other. In Chinese, it is 陰陽互根. Also yin eye is inside of yang and yang eye is inside of yin. Those two eyes are the opportunities. 77 yu yu 4 days ago For China, Modernization is not equal to Westernization. China has a 5,000-year-old Civilization unbroken history. The Imperial West will not understand and do not want to understand China because of arrogance and a feeling of being born superior, including racial, in all aspects 142 KS Tan KS Tan 3 days ago Any fool can be president in a democracy.
