I physically live in the 'democracy' but China is winning my heart day by day. The world must realize the reality that China has already won to some extent or is winning the geopolitical contest with America, and nothing can stop or reverse this process.

Now all Chinese have already been back their normal life, how about the “democratic” life? Still in struggle between the death or live, right? Covid19 has already clearly told us which country has the human rights and democracy!

Prof Kishore....you speaks the truth but unfortunately the truth is always unpalatable. I just hope those people in the "corridor of powers" in the US and West don't take what you said to be an insult, especially the part about the 200 years of US and Western domination as an aberration? Maybe that's why lately the propaganda war waged by the US and its close allies of UK, Canada and Australia has escalated significantly...? They are now making a concerted effort to make sure it is not an aberration but a normality?

My only take is that UN and other global organisations has been already corrupted by the West to instigate wars like the Syrian bombing and Iraq invasion for its natural resources. Greed has overtaken the prerogative of what it is supposed to be. The way forward is to create new ones with equal spread of power.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently, Meng Wanzhou has successfully drawn attention from all over the world. She has been arrested and detained in Canada for two years,
HSBC was the biggest accomplice in the Meng Wanzhou case. HSBC's international reputation hit rock bottom when it turned out that HSBC had played a dirty role in the conspiracy of FBI to entrap Meng Wanzhou, the CFO of Huawei Technologies.
Reputation is extremely important to a financial institution, so this time when HSBC's shroud of shame was torn off, its business began to shrink dramatically!
when people choose a bank to do business with, trust always comes first. Why do rich people like to deposit their money in Swiss banks? It's because they believe Swiss banks will never disclose or even leak their customers' information. But HSBC obviously forgot this golden rule.
HSBC not only gave a deliberately flawed piece of evidence, but also denied that the PPT slides, which Meng Wanzhou had used to address the bank's top executives, had ever appeared in front of HSBC management. This action directly led to Meng Wanzhou being slandered as a criminal, while bringing HSBC's creditworthiness in China right down to zero.
HSBC has undoubtedly lost the trust of China, because of its stupid decision in the Meng Wanzhou case. China's Ministry of Finance already abandoned HSBC, which it had worked with for so many years, when it chose partners for the new issuance of government bonds. HSBC was replaced by the US-based Citibank. Isn't that ironic?
There are reports saying that HSBC wants to sell its banking operations in the United States and France to boost returns, or even get rid of the market in America. If so, it will undoubtedly have to set its sights on Asia again. And China is bound to be the biggest market for it; after all, HSBC has been deep-rooted in China for over one hundred years.
HSBC originated in Hong Kong in the mid-19th century. In the early days, because the Qing Dynasty had lost the war, it needed various reparations, but its treasury was empty, and it could only borrow money from foreign banks. HSBC, which had just made its name known, was an active participant in this line of business. No matter how much money the Qing dynasty borrowed from HSBC, the bank agreed to lend it with a high interest rate of 15 points. As a result, HSBC became a large creditor of the Qing government, and became the largest bank in China after taking a high interest rate every year. Since then, HSBC has also gained the trust of countless people. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, with the approval of the CPC state, HSBC continued to conduct foreign exchange business. As one of the only two remaining foreign banks in China at that time, HSBC earned a great deal of money from this business.

This is a re-posted video, we just added English Subtitle to the video, and nothing changed. Old subscribers can skip this.
We are putting English Subtitles to the videos we have right now, as a lot of viewers have difficulties to follow what was said in the videos, and for re-posted videos, the title will begin as "English Subtitle Added", and in the description, we will mention they are published videos before. It took more than 10 hours to prepare one video, and another several hours to add subtitles, the workload is too heavy to be finished in one day.
We will try to upload new videos every other day, and for new videos, they do not begin with "English Subtitle Added".
Old videos with English Subtitle will be deleted in two weeks.

The collapse of HSBC is not enough. The HSBC executives who played a dirty role in framing Meng Wanzhou should be charged and punished severely or they should come forward and tell the truth to clear Meng Wanzhou of any guilt. The names of these executives are known as well as their whereabouts. Whether they still work for HSBC or are retired or have left HSBC is immaterial. They must be charged or they must clear Meng Wanzhou.

Critics of "US aircraft carriers" have been arguing for decades that the survival of the world’s biggest warships will increasingly be at risk in an era of long-range, precision-guided anti-ship missiles.
One reason the US Navy is not alarmed is that it has invested heavily in new technologies aimed at bolstering the defenses of carrier strike groups. It also has changed its tactics for operating near China.
Large-deck, nuclear-powered aircraft carriers of the type the US Navy operates seem like they would be easy to target. They are over a thousand feet long, they are 25 decks high, and they are made of steel that reflects radar signals. They have distinctive optical, infrared and radio-frequency signatures.

Once a city of protest, Hong Kong has become a city of fear. The ABC’s China correspondent Bill Birtles reported on the tumultuous Hong Kong pro-democracy protests throughout 2019-2020, before his abrupt return home when China-Australia relations blew up.
Now Birtles brings us the final chapter of the Hong Kong rebellion, as Beijing exerts an iron grip on the once liberal outpost, snuffing out the last breaths of democracy.
He tells the story of Max, a young Hong Kong activist, who must decide if he should stay and fight for democracy, risking jail, or flee and continue to campaign from outside.
“The atmosphere is different. It’s a lot grimmer. And it’s become a lot harder to hold on to hope,” says Max.
We speak with protest leader Joshua Wong, on trial for organising protests.
“Now is not the time for us to kow-tow to Beijing and surrender!” declares a defiant Wong. Days after our interview, Wong is jailed.
We join pro-democracy lawmaker Claudia Mo as she packs up her office in the Legislative Council, having resigned in protest at China’s squeeze on who can run for office.
“I was quite happy to call it a day but that doesn’t mean we’re giving up the democracy fight in Hong Kong,” says Mo, but she concedes it’s a losing battle.
“On the surface, Hong Kong is still quite so glamorous, quite so prosperous looking, but then deep down it’s rotting.”
Some locals - like Australian educated, pro-government politician Nixie Lam - welcome an end to the chaos of protest, and the return of law and order.
“Just don’t say you want Hong Kong independent…or accept foreign monies to try to promote things like that. Then you’ll be totally fine,” says Lam, denouncing the protest leaders as traitors.
As Max prepares to depart, Beijing orders a wave of arrests, sending a thousand police across the city to detain the remaining pro-democracy leadership. Claudia Mo is on the list.
“I never imagined Hong Kong would have come to this,” she says.

As home to 47 ethnic minority groups, Xinjiang is a colorful land boasting diverse cultures and landscapes. It was once plagued by terrorist attacks, killing innocent people. But what is it like now? What's the life of local people like? British-Australian Jerry Grey, who has traveled to Xinjiang five times and bicycled across several provinces of China, shares his journey and observations of Xinjiang with CGTN. #Xinjiang #China #Uygur

Xinjiang is huge and has incredible nature and scenery, definitely worth the extra security. Last visited Xinjiang in the spring of 2019 to visit my ailing father inlaw, aside from the extra security we enjoyed the visit. To the contrary we felt much safer because of the security. Jerry mentioned that Xinjiang is multi ethnic and that is part of the attraction, the Uyghur restaurants, food shops and people are wonderful. The Uyghur are thriving and it was amazing to see the changes since my last visit in 2013, they seem to have moved up the economic ladder like the other ethnic groups and Han. Jerry didn't mention that the security forces are also multi ethnic and have many Uighars that are often in senior positions of authority. Sadly, like Jerry I've had family and friends literally attack me when I speak of China honestly. I had to endure some very nutty abuse on the phone where they would yell vitriolic hatred towards a country they have never visited and call me brainwashed. Why were they hurling abuse towards me is even more sad, it was early March and I was warning them to take the pandemic seriously and sharing the success of the Chineses authorities pandemic measures and Grid Management. My goal was simply to help them avoid getting very sick or dying. Sad to lose friends and family to the non-stop hate propaganda doing its work in west.

A brutal polar vortex blast is sending power and gas bills to the moon, triggering chaos and panic as electricity prices across the U.S. are exploding amid one of the toughest winters ever registered. That's what we're going to expose today. So stay with us, and don't forget to leave a thumbs up and share this video, and, of course, subscribe to our channel to keep updated with the next chapters of the U.S. economic collapse, the stock market frenzy, the housing market bubble, and much more. Without further ado let's jump into this video!
Numerous news reporting the blast of a huge polar vortex started to pop last week, as temperatures plummeted all across the nation in a phenomenon that is being called the Big Chill. Consequently, natural gas prices soared to never before seen levels as the cold wind has literally frozen natural gas supplies and forced several plants to cut down receipts at the same time customers' demand for heating continued to climb. Since then, experts have been alerting that the longer the cold wave lasts the higher prices could hit. Some even compared the unprecedented price surge to what was seen inside the stock markets during the peak of the GameStop frenzy.
In fact, as frigid temperatures caused equipment failures, temporary shutdowns, and flaring in at least four processing plants, the hysteria to purchase natural gas has sent prices up 32,000% in a few days. The market's proverbial truth of low offer and high demand has dramatically hit prices. In several locations on the midcontinent, such as the Oneok OGT natural gas spot, demand was so incredibly high that any available natural gas started to be purchased at virtually any price companies asked, which is why it exploded from $3.46 one week ago, to $9 on Wednesday, $60.28 on Thursday and a shocking $377.13 on Friday, which explains the 32,000% increase - something completely unprecedented in all U.S. history.
This is one of those situations where having a limit-up circuit breaker could actually be a life-saver, although there simply is nowhere near enough supply to meet the demand at any price, for that reason, this explosive upsurge in prices isn't expected to disappear so soon. Just a couple of days ago, weather forecasts predicted the coldest temperatures in over a decade would hit the midcontinent region over this holiday weekend, which led prices to surge again at several locations across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Eastern Arkansas, where hub prices traded at single-day record highs in the range of $200 to $300/MMBtu, according to a Platts report.
At one Enable Gas Transmission spot, the cash market traded up to $500, with weighted-average prices staying steady by mid-session at around $359/MMBtu. On the other hand, as the offer for natural gas got increasingly limited, the immediate downstream commodity, electricity, followed the same surge in both prices and demand in a matter of hours across all US markets on Friday. Platts reported that "as arctic air mass continues to blanket much of the central US, daily temperatures across some of the locations will range between 30 to 40 degrees below average, according to the NWS. Eastern PJM, Northwest, and much of Texas are also under winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories."
It goes without saying that this is catastrophic news not only for the continued halt in natural gas distribution but also for tens of thousands of Americans who are about to see the effects of this explosion in electricity prices in this month's electricity bill. Just yesterday, the peak price in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas reached an extreme all-time high of $5,500, up from $302 the day before.
The latest weather forecasts are indicating that the polar vortex will continue pouring Arctic air into most of the central US through the coming week, which means natural gas prices are likely to rise even further and electricity demand will continue to surge as Americans face one of the toughest winters ever recorded. And the results of this brutal chillwave will be translated numerically in our electricity bills this month, as it seems we have entered a new era where natural disasters and financial strains have become the new normal.

In the long run, China and India will still have difficult times in the border area, as India thinks it is the heir to the British India Empire, and that is why it has border disputes and conflicts with all its neighboring countries, and even merged Sikkim and three portugese colonies in the 1970's. It also grabbed a lot of lands from its neighbors including Pakistan and China, and physically controls Bhutan now. After World War Two, India is the number one invader haing taken most lands from other countries.
It is because of India's aggressiveness, that Obama wanted to leverage it to block China. Now Obama's vice president, Joe Biden is the POTUS, the confrontation between China and the United States will not come to an end easily.
As for India, it can hardly become China's rival in fifteen years, and the settlement of this border fight, may bring peace to these two countries for another ten years, at least.

China disclosed to have plans to increase its strategic commodities reserves to ease anxiety over energy and food security. The plan is foreseen to start in 2021 and is likely to include substantial purchases of cruse, strategic materials, and farm goods, according to local officials.
Their goal is to keep China safe and protected from any of the disruptions it has experienced this year, after floods, droughts, and pests ruined several plantations across the country and not only affected the Chinese food supply chain, as it has threatened the locals with food shortages in a number of cities.
The authorities, who preferred to remain unidentified due to the sensitivity of the matter, pointed out that the main goal of the plan is to make sure that China's secretive stockpiles, considered to be one of the world’s largest reserves, remain abundant enough to hold out against supply disruptions that could damage its economy.
The strategy for 2021-2025 will be laid out next month by China’s top leadership, and it is expected to include an increase in domestic consumption and the production of more critical technology at home, in an attempt to isolate the world’s second-biggest economy from the deteriorating geopolitical tensions and further ruptures in supply chains. Chinese officials have disclosed that securing food supplies, fuel, and materials is a precondition of greater self-reliance for the world’s biggest importer of commodities, in that way, reducing China’s anxieties over energy and food security in particular will be a focus of the new buying program.
As mentioned by two of the officials, China has already started to prepare and build some of the storage capacity it will be necessary to cover for the program to boost reserves. The plan will incorporate a directive to accelerate the construction of more facilities to hold crude, particularly in remote inland regions, they said.
With all evidence on the table, those who have been following up on Chinese developments already could see how China has been capturing raw materials and strategic goods far in advance of what the economy needs at this moment, which consequently means that the decline in other imports - which are overall still pretty down year-over-year, even including this commodity surge - is even larger. And you may be wondering "why aren’t FX reserves rising even as the trade surplus soars"? The answer to that is evidently tied to the huge purchase of commodities, and you can expect to hear that it will last for years.
But a question that is very worth asking is: what does it really mean such colossal stockpiles o commodities for China? What are the real reasons, not the ones the government is pointing out for us to look at? Is China already aware of the imminence of the next global economic collapse ? Because, if you think about it, has there ever been a stage during trade tensions where anyone has ever threatened not to sell to China? The case is that trade partners don’t exclusively want to sell raw materials and unprocessed commodities to it, but they tend to prefer to hold more of the technology and value chain themselves. That's the way things go, from Europe to the US.
As Every asks in his analysis: "What possible disruption could be on the horizon that would require China to have a large enough buffer of all conceivable inputs - in remote inland areas to boot - that it needs to use up its precious USD reserves in a bulk splurge now”? The timing seems quite suspicious and the possible answers don't seem quite right just yet.
The “geopolitics” euphemistic exit doesn't seem to fit, because this strategy can’t be only related to the ongoing concerns of the US acting on China’s USD access because these purchases will probably still be made in using dollars, even in vast size, right? Or is the idea with such a "mammoth" buying, a shift to CNY can be speeded up? That’s something to keep in mind for commodity sellers.
It could configure a multi-year bull-run and then a very sharp stop. That is to say, in theory, after stockpiling commodities for an extensive amount of time, China wouldn't have to worry about not having enough of a certain type of good, and it and it could simply stop buying from the industry or the country it wants if prices were too high for one, or even two years, while watching them collapse until prices were reasonable again, or the assets were for sale.
We're not implying that China is actually doing any of these things, but it could, if it wanted to. This is geostrategics. With all the threats it has been facing, the country seems to have found a way to protect its power. What are your thoughts about it? What do you think China's next move will be? Please feel free to share your thoughts on the comment section down below.

As soon as we are born, society gives us a script to tell us how we should be, how we should behave, what we like and dislike, what we should accomplish, what should be our goals and how we are supposed to manage our lives. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people are connected to the matrix and too afraid to pull the plug. Most people feel they can't quit their jobs and start over somewhere else because they have bills to cover every month, they have enormous amounts of debt they owe to giant corporate financial institutions. In essence, debt handcuffs us to the system.
We're told we must dedicate our entire lives to work, and starting living when we retire. We pass our lives pouring money into corporate securities in the rigged game that we call "the stock market”, but the financial system isn't as indestructible as it seems to be. And what happens when our economy and the markets start to crumble? What are we supposed to do? Should we just accept we are doomed to go down with them? The answer is a big fat NO. There is life to be lived outside the molds that are presented to us. Things don't have to go that way. You can set yourself free and live a life that is worth living. In this video, we decided to bring the example of some brave risk-takers that decided to live off the grid and started to find joy and fulfillment away from the chaos of modern society. So stay with us, don't forget to share and leave a thumbs up in this video, and subscribe to our channel, and turn on the bell to keep updated with our latest notifications.
“If the Great Recession was a crack in the system, [the health crisis] and climate change will be the chasm," said Bob Wells, the nomad who plays himself in the film Nomadland, an early Oscar contender starring Frances McDormand, is helping people to adopt the nomad way of life and change their perspectives about the world. Today, Wells lives exclusively on public lands in his GMC Savana equipped with 400 watts of solar power and a 12-volt refrigerator. He will never have to make a mortgage payment or pay rent ever again. Now his life goal is to teach people how they can practice nomadic tribalism living in a car, van, or RV, and, in that way, they can save themselves from homelessness and began living more sustainably.
For some, living in a van isn't a practical choice, especially for families with kids and for those who need more space in order to have a comfortable experience. But there are several options one can choose to start rearranging their lifestyles. In essence, living off-grid is more about your mindset than about social rules and conventions. That's what a British couple named Matthew and Charis Watkinson defends. In an interview, the Essex vets disclosed they gave up the rat race to find a good life in the Welsh countryside after they came across and fully embraced a philosophy known as “collapsology”. In short, the movement is based around the consideration that society as we know it could entirely collapse. But as opposed to doomsday preppers, rather than lonely bunkering down in a deserted nuclear facility and preparing to fight the storm alone, the movement envisions to save society as a society - introducing rural, communal lifestyles while also welcoming communication with the wider world.
If the current collapse starts to quickly accelerate, they are ready. Besides, they don't have to get up every morning and drag themselves to corporate jobs that suck the life out of them. Matthew and Charis might have a simple lifestyle, but they are just overjoyed to be free from the chains of the system. “We’ve built a farm for a lot less than £100,000 and it’s all ours. We don’t owe anybody any money and we don’t have any bills – why aren’t more people doing this?” they questioned. That's exactly it: why aren’t more people doing this? We just like to remind you that there are options, there are alternatives and there's much more life to live outside what we call "civilization". People are finally waking up to that fact and getting free from the system, and you can do it too.

Living off grid is much harder than people think. It takes hours of back breaking labour and more than just one person. People don’t realize how hard it is to grow your own food or to produce your own products. People have been so dumbed down by cheap Chinese products made by slave labor no one knows how to survive outside the system.

The ongoing retail apocalypse and the commercial real estate crisis are creating a domino effect of bankruptcies and foreclosures, and increasing socio and economic difficulties for workers while destroying several iconic businesses across the U.S. The huge rental debt load accumulated throughout 2020 and the high rates of vacancy in office and commercial space are weighting upon the real estate market, which was already on a path for a correction before widespread lockdowns slowed down economic activity and social-distancing mandates started to force workers to stay at home. Now, experts are warning that the multi-faced crisis the real estate market is currently facing might not only result in a crash, as it could potentially generate much more financial pain for the entire country in the months ahead. That's what we investigate in this video.
Reports displaying pictures of empty stores in previously scorching hot markets are becoming more frequent as the U.S. has been losing some of its most iconic businesses to the current recession. In New York, famous stores based in SoHo and other parts of Manhattan are failing as residents have fled away from the city to find safer spots amid the growing social turbulence. Consequently, only between February and October last year, more than 30,000 retail jobs were lost in the city.
Foot-traffic has remarkably declined in the face of continued stay-at-home mandates, and most of these stores are struggling to make enough revenue to survive, and particularly, to afford their luxury rental payments. According to Crain’s New York, retail spaces in the Fifth Avenue shopping district between 49th and 59th streets had an average of over $3,000 per square foot. In that way, a 2,500 square foot store, for instance, would pay $7.5 million in rent each year under these lease terms. Conversely, if that store starts missing rental payments, the losses the landlord would face would also be in the range of millions of dollars.
As it is getting incredibly hard to find paying tenants to occupy the emptied space, landlords have been lowering rent prices and, in some cases, even bailing out some store chains to help keep business alive. According to Bloomberg, cheap funding costs have extended a lifeline to many troubled big retail store chains, which has helped to decelerate the pace of U.S. bankruptcy filings, but small shops, offices, and hotels continue to be particularly vulnerable to the effects of the health crisis. King & Spalding's financial analyst, Sarah Borders, has pointed out that the real estate industry is “facing an existential crisis of what’s next”.
We haven't even started addressing how relentless the recession has been for the office real state market yet. As more and more CEOs move the headquarters of their companies away from metropolitan areas, the rates of vacant office space on the market are exploding to all-time highs, exceeding prior records set during the Financial Crisis and the Dotcom Bust, to 13.9 million square feet, according to Cushman & Wakefield.
The economic advisor, Sacha Lord, maintained that the ongoing retail apocalypse and the commercial real estate crisis will create a domino effect of closures and increase socio and economic hardships unless spaces are promptly repurposed. In short, pretty much every segment of the real estate sector is facing a crisis of its own. When both commercial and housing market crises are added together, we have one of the biggest debt crisis in all U.S. history.
While prices of commercial properties have been sharply declining, housing prices are now in the most splendid bubble ever recorded, and it goes without saying that this unbalance is going to make conditions pretty unsustainable very soon. Just as for the stock markets, it isn't easy to accurately forecast the precise time a crash will occur, but by analyzing historical patterns, it is possible to see when one is coming. And knowing that at this stage of the economic downturn we're trapped into an everything bubble, it's just a matter of time until the real estate market blows up in the air and repeat the same scene we've watched during the last bubble burst - only this time, things are bound to get much uglier.

Are you satisfied with life in America right now? Consider the overall situation of the country, not just politics, but all the fundamental aspects to the functioning of our country. Are you satisfied with how our society is operating right now? We have just left one of the most turbulent years in all U.S. history and 2021 hasn't really started on a positive note either. The health crisis is still lingering and our economy remains deadlocked. It seems like we're all stuck in the worst economic crisis of the past 70 years, with businesses dying and unemployment continuously soaring. Demonstrations of social discontentment are being taken to the streets on an almost daily basis and our population appears to be more divided than ever. All of these challenges have taken a great toll on our collective perception of the future of our nation, and according to a recent Gallup survey, the overall public satisfaction is currently at extremely low levels. That's what we discuss in this video.
A new survey performed by Gallup found that Americans’ satisfaction with the way the country functions is collectively at its lowest level in almost two decades of the company's measurement. The average amount of respondents who affirmed to be satisfied with these seven areas has dropped to 39% at the start of 2021. As a matter of comparison, a year ago that rate was at 53%, the highest average in over a decade amid a strong economic outlook and before the health crisis struck in the U.S. Now, not only is average public satisfaction with the broad contours of the nation at dramatically low levels, but Americans' satisfaction with each aspect of the index is at or near its lowest since 2001, which reflects declines of seven to 17 percentage points in the past year.
Almost 70 million Americans, or about 40% of the labor force, have filed for unemployment benefits since the burst of the outbreak. At this stage, nearly 10 million people remain out of work, and as our economy is still struggling to recover from the associated slowing of economic activity, while political tensions keep rising, it's understandable why Americans' views of the country are very different today than a year ago. Sadly, this year has not started on a very positive note either. The outlook for 2021 remains hazy. The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits continues to be at nearly four times the pre-outbreak levels, as the new round of lockdowns is triggering a high number of layoffs.
Long-term unemployment is approaching a historical peak for roughly 40% of jobless workers, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. Several labor economists have been arguing that this is a particularly dangerous period of unemployment for jobless workers since it means that their household income is significantly compromised for a prolonged period of time. Last month, only 49,000 jobs were added to the U.S. economy, in contrast to the 227,000 jobs shed in December 2020. Given that there are about 10 million fewer jobs than before the recession, the director of Policy at the Economic Policy Institute, Heidi Shierholz says that it could take approximately 29 years to get back to pre-recession levels at the current pace of job growth.
Although unemployment benefits can offer a safety net for out-of-work employees, not all qualify to collect them. In fact, according to a report published last week just 30% of unemployed individuals are being reached by the unemployment system. That is to say, approximately three out of every four jobless workers aren’t receiving aid - or about 8 million of the 11 million unemployed Americans.
In short, the trillions created out of thin air to allegedly boost the economy, for the most part, have ended up in the financial markets and only added to our already alarming national debt. The biggest part of that sum never made its way through those who needed the most. Instead, it has put our country on a highway to hyperinflation, which will only deteriorate our living standards in the long run, aggravate debt problems, and debase the value of our currency.
In view of all this, it's perfectly comprehensible why Americans are feeling so pessimistic about the future of the nation. All of our institutions seem to be crumbling before our eyes, and the foundation of our economy is greatly shaken. The more authorities fail to properly assist our workers, the longer this painful recession will stretch. If you thought we were entering brighter days in 2021, we're sorry to say that everywhere we look there is still gloominess on the horizon.

Saint Brigid was born Brigit, and shares a name with a Celtic goddess from whom many legends and folk customs are associated.
There is much debate over her birthparents, but it is widely believed her mother was Brocca, a Christian baptized by Saint Patrick, and her father was Dubthach, a Leinster chieftain. Brocca was a slave, therefore Brigid was born into slavery.
When Dubthach's wife discovered Brocca was pregnant, she was sold to a Druid landowner. It is not clear if Brocca was unable to produce milk or was not present to care for Brigid, but legend states Brigid vomited any food the druid attempted to feed her, as he was impure, so a white cow with red ears sustained her instead.
Many stories of Brigid's purity followed her childhood. She was unable to keep from feeding the poor and healing them.
One story says Brigid once gave her mother's entire store of butter, that was later replenished after Brigid prayed.
When she was about ten-years-old, Brigid was returned to her father's home, as he was her legal master. Her charity did not end when she left her mother, and she donated his possessions to anyone who asked.
Eventually, Dubthach became tired of her charitably nature and took her to the king of Leinster, with the intention of selling her. As he spoke to the king, Brigid gave his jeweled sword to a beggar so he could barter it for food for his family. When the king, who was a Christian, saw this, he recognized her heart and convinced Dubthach to grant her freedom by saying, "Her merit before God is greater than ours."
After being freed, Brigid returned to the Druid and her mother, who was in charge of the Druid's dairy. Brigid took over and often gave away milk, but the dairy prospered despite the charitable practice, and the Druid eventually freed Brocca.
Brigid then returned to Dubthach, who had arranged for her to marry a bard. She refused and made a vow to always be chaste.
Legend has it Brigid prayed that her beauty be taken so no one would want to marry her, and the prayer was granted. It was not until after she made her final vows that her beauty was restored.
Another tale says that when Saint Patrick heard her final vows, he accidentally used the form for ordaining priests. When the error was brought to his attention, he simply replied, "So be it, my son, she is destined for great things."
Little is known about Saint Brigid's life after she entered the Church, but in 40 she founded a monastery in Kildare, called the Church of the Oak. It was built above a pagan shrine to the Celtic goddess Brigid, which was beneath a large oak tree.
Brigid and seven friends organized communal consecrated religious life for women in Ireland and she founded two monastic institutions, one for men and one for women. Brigid invited a hermit called Conleth to help her in Kildare as a spiritual pastor.
Her biographer reported that Brigid chose Saint Conleth "to govern the church along with herself."
She later founded a school of art that included metalwork and illumination, which Conleth led as well. It was at this school that the Book of Kildare, which the Gerald of Wales praised as "the work of angelic, and not human skill," was beautifully illuminated, but was lost three centuries ago.
There is evidence that Brigid was a good friend of Saint Patrick's and that the Trias Thaumaturga claimed, "Between St. Patrick and Brigid, the pillars of the Irish people, there was so great a friendship of charity that they had but one heart and one mind. Through him and through her Christ performed many great works."
Saint Brigid helped many people in her lifetime, but on February 1 525, she passed away of natural causes. Her body was initially kept to the right of the high altar of Kildare Cathedral, with a tomb "adorned with gems and precious stones and crowns of gold and silver," but in 878, during the Scandinavian raids, her relics were moved to the tomb of Patrick and Columba.
In 1185, John de Courcy had her remains relocated in Down Cathedral. Today, Saint Brigid's skull can be found in the Church of St. John the Baptist in Lumiar, Portugal. The tomb in which it is kept bears the inscription, "Here in these three tombs lie the three Irish knights who brought the head of St. Brigid, Virgin, a native of Ireland, whose relic is preserved in this chapel. In memory of which, the officials of the Altar of the same Saint caused this to be done in January AD 1283."

US China relations are at its worst in modern history, how did the two countries get to this point? Understand the historical forces driving the conflict - from China’s Century of Shame to the slow decay of deindustrialisation in the US. Further adding to tensions is China’s perspective that US meddled in Hong Kong’s internal politics, and the American perspective that China is in part to blame for the coronavirus pandemic. After 4 years of escalating conflict under a Trump administration, what will Biden’s approach to China be?

The U.S. and Chinese militaries have continued to confront one another near Taiwan and in the South China Sea in the early weeks of the Biden administration. Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft conducted a simulated strike against a U.S. aircraft carrier in January 2021, while Taiwan has experienced near-daily incursions into its airspace by Chinese aircraft. The U.S. Navy’s persistent operations in the South China Sea and diplomatic pronouncements from senior U.S. officials indicate that the Biden administration is largely staying the course in confronting Chinese intimidation in the region. Yet, unlike the Trump administration, Biden and his team appear keen to bring U.S. allies alongside to form a “united front” on military, economic and diplomatic dimensions of the U.S.-China relationship.
-Tension Near Taiwan.
-U.S. Operations in the South China Sea and Beyond.
-Biden’s Emerging China Strategy.

The Coming War on China, from award winning journalist John Pilger, reveals what the news doesn’t – that the world’s greatest military power, the United States, and the world’s second economic power, China, both nuclear-armed, may well be on the road to war.
Nuclear war is not only imaginable, but planned. The greatest build-up of NATO military forces since the Second World War is under way on the western borders of Russia. On the other side of the world, the rise of China is viewed in Washington as a threat to American dominance.
To counter this, President Obama announced a ‘pivot to Asia’, which meant that almost two-thirds of all US naval forces would be transferred to Asia and the Pacific, their weapons aimed at China. A policy which has been taken up by his successor Donald Trump, who during his election campaign said “We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country and that’s what they’re doing”.
Filmed on five possible front-lines across Asia and the Pacific over two years, the story is told in chapters that connect a secret and ‘forgotten’ past to the rapacious actions of great power today and to a resistance, of which little is known in the West.

Despite China’s increasingly aggressive behaviour both at home and abroad, Beijing’s open threat to take control of Taiwan by force is receiving comparatively little attention – leaving this flourishing liberal democracy uniquely isolated and vulnerable. The threat may be far more imminent than many imagine. According to Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu “the Chinese authoritarian leaders may find Taiwan as a convenient scapegoat. Therefore Taiwan needs to be doubly concerned about a possible Chinese use of force against us.”
CHAPTERS
5:09 What is Taiwan?
16:05 Why China wants Taiwan
26:25 Scenario 1: Chipping away
33:10 Scenario 2: Crimea 2.0
41:18 Scenario 3: Invasion
49:05 What now?
In this video DW's Chief International Editor Richard Walker explores the roots of the threat in depth – aided by military and strategy experts from Taiwan, China, the United States and Germany. He charts the dramatic expansion in Beijing’s navy and advanced missile arsenal that is shifting the balance of power against the U.S. in the Pacific. The video examines three possible scenarios: China gradually chipping away at Taiwan’s stability via military and hybrid means; a sudden, Crimea-style annexation of outlying islands; and a full-scale invasion. This final scenario would pose extremely dangerous for global stability. “Everything that happens in this scenario happens under the shadow of a potential nuclear war,” warns Ian Easton, author of “The China Invasion Threat.”
Adding to Taiwan’s profound vulnerability, there is growing doubt that the any country would come to its aid in the event of Chinese military action – or even have the capability to do so. “Even five years ago, the ability of the United States to come to Taiwan’s defense was greater than it is today,” warns Bonnie Glaser, one of Washington’s top experts on the region. “It has eroded over the last decade. And that is, I think, problematic.”
In the U.S., Congressman Ted Yoho of the House Foreign Affairs Committee explains his bill that would commit the U.S. to come to Taiwan’s defence, ending the longstanding “strategic ambiguity” that he and some experts see as destabilizing. But could this in itself pose greater dangers? Europe must also take the threat more seriously, argues leading German expert Janka Oertel. “We have not devoted enough energy to these kinds of scenarios. What we lack is a European conversation about what kind of player Europe in the future would like to be in these kinds of scenarios.” m concludes with a passionate plea from Joseph Wu for democracies to end Taiwan’s diplomatic isolation from global bodies like the U.N. and the World Health Organization: “It's not fair to the Taiwanese people.”
What should the democratic world do to minimize the risk of an open conflict between China and Taiwan?

The "Decade of Concern" is also a demographic fact. China's population is aging quickly. Internal stresses will soon make military adventures more difficult.

Agree. Most Indians don't even know that Genghis was against Abrahamic religions and Khan is no muslim title. It is actually a Mongol title. That is why you see some Hindu Budhdhist Khans in East India, Tibet and of course Mongolia. In China they have become Yuan.

It is a threat to education, religion, whole world order system.
Mahameru (Great Meru) is just one of evidence of Hindu, wasn't religion as today but an Ancient region from Indonesia all the way to Europe. As India significant remaining.
I am not surprised in Bali 2012 I had a bizarre experience meeting one of my Ancestors from another realm, out of common people logic spiritual understanding. As surrounding of Bali's 4 mountains, is Gate 7 of Earth's Chakra 7th which is Mount Kailash Tibet.
Called Hindia, Indus, Indo (Indo European, Indo Persian, Indo American etc), Indonesia means Indo Nesos, Indo Islands, exactly on center of Equator line. Richest nature on entire world.
Most humid yet stable weather all year around, alway sunrise at 6 AM to sunset 6 PM.
Sumatra means Sumer/Summer/Sun/Gold + Tera/Terre/Earth/Land = Mother of Sumeria.
The highest humidity and with so many volcanoes than anywhere in the world made things decaying easily, worldwide still don't know about our oldest ancient civilization before the massive eruption of Toba 74000 years ago resulted today world's larget crater lake, volcanic Toba lake with width around 100 kilometers. As our Ancestors were even advanced than us today and flee towards today Europe, Middle East, America escaped the eruption larger than Yellowstone USA.
Yet, West and Middle East has been drawing Indonesia world's richest nature strategically on equator line center line of earth and world's largest archipelago too small on world map since Mercator 1569 while should be equally great as Russia and USA.

Caliphate is just another word for kingdom/sultanate ;)
Again and again I said those religious and fanatic footballer supporters are the same dummies.
They see only the outer part but knowing nothing of the internal matters ;)
As an example majority Indonesians consider themselves as muslims but they're dumb not fluent in Arabic never learned religions since early as child like me they neither ever lived there in Middle East alone like me.
This just 75 years old Republic of Indonesia founded by my forefathers kings of Nusantara (old Indonesia) with the Dutch and most Indonesians are not fluent in Dutch they neither ever lived alone in The Netherlands alone like me.
Why Indonesia is so Americanised? Because even the people don't know what's going on between the Dutch and USA back then. Republic is nothing but a joke, their leaders and public figures are just as common dumb as the people.
To be continued..
