Wish NatGeo would stop doing their videos Hollywood style where it looks like they're doing detective work and discovering things in real time. Just spare us the Nancy Drew bits and show the history, it's interesting enough.

"Your investigation"? Dude these "discoveries" aren't new. Many scholars and scientists conducted the research waaaaay before you made this documentary.

"We've used modern mapping technology to reveal these amazing, mysterious structures, discovering never-before-seen parts of this ancient wall!"
(walks right past the information sign standing in front of the tower put there for the tourists)

She says "if it was possible at all" talking about mapping the harder to get to wall places. Lady, they built the wall and put it there without modern machineries! Open that small mind!

All the pre-cap and re-cap, unfortunately, make this video unwatchable.

The hyperbole in this article is excessive. It is dumbed down and uses old information as if it was a new discovery.
How NatGeo can put their brand on this is quite concerning.

I went to JinShanLing and SiMaTai several times in the 90's, the last time being about 2002. It was not touristy way back then whereas Badaling near Beijing was just overcrowded with tourists. The views are definitely spectacular and the wall was broken in many places and also dangerous in others like one spot called "The Eagles Nest". Well worth a visit.

Interesting, but the narrator kept trying to add drama where unnecessary. Didn't like this.
