In this video, I break down Crystal Liu's comments and examine if she is a correct representation of Loyalty, Bravery, and Truth, the three adjectives Disney has used to describe Mulan and this movie. First of all, I really don’t know where the Western world led by US thinks that they have the right to dictate others of their so-called value? When they accept equal right regardless of race, sex, sexual orientation, wealth among a whole lot of other stuff, why do they think their political system is THE one, especially when the so-called democracy exists by name only? Voting is just an expensive and meaningless exercise to let the politicians think that they got the “by the People” authorization but in fact, the “of” and “for” parts already switched over to mega enterprises that contributed big bucks in exchange of policies in their favour. For years I have been wondering why Marxism was so speedily accepted by Chinese intellects at the final stage of Qing Dynasty and now I think I know why. Because Marxism matches the ancient Chinese political ideology - the governance such that you not only love your own child but all children, not only your own seniors but all seniors alike, such society that children, seniors, widowers and widows, the lonely people, handicapped or the sicks are all looked after, talents are put into suitable use, wealth left on the ground shall not be picked up as we are not the rightful owners. Doors need not be locked in night time as there shall be no thief. Such thinking already existed in China during Qin and Han dynasties which was around 300-200 BC. 64 C ST C ST 4 months ago I hope more Chinese people can speak out. 41 Gibson SG Gibson SG 4 months ago (edited) Now that the shoe is on the other foot, you can see the immediate effect and the negative reaction on the protesters stateside. For months, the USA, amongst a few others lackey countries have had been fanning and propagating the violent anti-social and anti-establishment behaviours in Hong Kong. They condone, support, instigate and encourage the escalation of the degrees of destructive behaviours that turned one of the safest, peaceful and prosperous cities of the world into lawlessness, essentially bordering or totally near anarchy and were it not for the bravery and tenacity of the HK police, some righteous politicians, and the steadfast and stoic good citizens who braved the onslaught of the daily disturbances, the city would have come to her knees. It’s encouraging to see people like you Cyrus, who are voicing their independent and fair analyst to dispel some of the wicked and agendas of darkness to wreak havoc through false disinformation, aiding and abetting the rioters, conspiring to bring mayhem and calamities to Hong Kong. Still remember Ted Cruz and his minions coming to HK to offer their “moral supports” to bring down the HK government. Nancy Pelosi, of all people, (I was proud of you when you did that clapping behind the tRump)using her position in Congress to offer her supports to the leadership of the rioters in order to lend credence to the anarchical movement- you are a total disgrace! Just imagine if China encourages the return of Texas and California to Mexico, these people would have scream blue murder and f not beating their war drums already. Is HK perfect? Is China perfect? Of course not! But neither is the world nor all those holier than thou hypocrites who are heaping praises on the madman in the Oval Office and dumping scornful criticisms on other countries they deem to be adversaries, real or imagined. I dare anyone of the hypocrites to take a walk down Pennsylvania Street or 5th Avenue after dark without armed escorts. I can imagine them strolling down any streets in Beijing or Shanghai and in fact, any city without any fear or trepidation at all while munching a late night snack. How many wars has the USA started since end of Vietnam war, or other clandestine operations, rightly or wrongly, if the truths be known, they were mostly “wrongly”. How much destruction and lost of lives have we caused to other countries since then? Just imagine all those aggrieved countries were allowed access to bring it to the UN Security Council or the world courts to expose the ugliness of US politics and their hidden agenda. This is all about unbridled power and ego trips, hunger for greed and control of others whom they think are inferior to themselves. There is so much wealth to go around in the world, enough to feed, clothe everyone and heal or treat diseases to bring about peace and harmony to let everyone to live without any fear. Why, there’s no need to build walls or trenches or gated communities. Look at the Defence budget of the USA, Russia or other nations which are always gearing for a fight. The funny thing about the massive weaponry and the smart ordinance are all designed not to repel an imagined enemy from outer space but to kill fellow human beings. Mary Trump sums it up perfectly, “too much, and never enough”. Take 20% off the Defense budget and put them into education, health, medicine, infrastructures, employment, manufacturing and social welfare, just to name a few, the world would have been a much better place from the one as we know it today. Keep up your works, bro! 128 JonoC **** JonoC **** 4 months ago If Americans did to their cities what the thugs did to Hong Kong, the police, National guard, CIA and FBI would have shot and arrested and charged them after shooting rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades (in USA peaceful protesters) - even the army is used against own citizens which is contrary to the Constitutional articles and spirit. Shame on the people who criticised Ms Liu and the Trump administration and their lackeys 33 Yining Fan Yining Fan 1 year ago Thanks for providing the Internet with more balanced and nuanced views! Feel free to speak out about different aspects of (mainland) China and show the world a real picture of China and Asia! I hope your account won't run into many issues like other youtuber with similar contents :( 20 sophon block sophon block 8 months ago The reason why Liu Yifei said she supports the police was because of an incident when a chinese reporter was tied up at the hong kong airport and surrounded by angry protesters beating him up and practically trying to lynch him. While plundering his luggage, they found a tshirt which said "I love HK Police" which you can buy anywhere in a night market in HK. The chinese reporter defied the violent protesters and bravely said: "Yes I support the Hong Kong police, I can support whomever I want, you can beat me up if you want, I don't care" Those words became an internet meme, and Liu Yifei just retweeted that post, but not saying if she politically sided with anyone or not. So you have to know the context before you blindly go blame Yifei. Anyone with a sane mind would support the police to stop such violence. I don't have anything against fighting for freedom and democracy, but if you hurt other innocent people then you are crossing the line. People who support these violence are no better and are as guilty. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5idv5Sq37g 364 回合 回合 10 months ago As I a Chinese person, I always believe in freedom and rights for a human being. However, if the violence wins today, the freedom and rights will not come tomorrow, but only the violence. 96 潇雨濛国际YumongX Int'l 潇雨濛国际YumongX Int'l 6 months ago Very positive & well said!
