According to a Reuters report from Sinjiang, in October 2019, the Tarim oilfield branch of PetroChina discovered a giant gas field, an estimated reserve of 115.3 billion cubic meters, also in Sinjiang. Sinjiang is abundant in natural resources, and it also produces over 87% of China's cotton. Very few people know that the Chinese currency, RMB, is made with Sinjiang cotton as well. As the biggest province in China, it accounts for 16% of China's total area. It is vital to China and Asia's stability, as it is in the center of the Asian and European continents. In the 19th century, the British Empire tried to separate Sinjiang from Qing Dynasty, but the famous Chinese general, Zuo Zongtang safeguarded the sovereign integrity by defeating the UK-backed rebel. China's BRI, short for Belt and Road Initiative, puts Sinjiang at the top for its strategic location. That is one of the reasons, why Anti-China forces undermine Sinjiang to hinder the B R I project, which is more ambitious than the American Marshall Plan 70 years ago.
