President Xi Jinping has an ambition to double the size of China’s economy by the middle of the next decade.
Meanwhile, after mismanaging the pandemic, the United States could relinquish its title of being the world’s biggest economy by 2028.
Attempts by the Trump administration to restrict China's access to technology may just be a road bump on the country's relentless rise. But it also faces challenges in the form of demographics, enormous debts and geopolitical entanglements.
Plus, is vertical farming a realistic way of feeding the world?

As a Chinese, I only hope that my income can increase every year and the quality of life of my whole family can be improved. This is what every Chinese family cares about most! We don't care which countries China will surpass!

There is still 1 billion Chinese that are becoming middle class, and the Chinese economy is still far from a service heavy economy, so why would you doubt there is not enough potential to get there? Not to mention Chinese Yuan will appreciate quite a bit against the dollar between now and 2035

Simply put it, all down to hard work and making sure that hard work is rewarded to ensure that wealth is distributed fairly. USA too busy wasting money on wars with a unfair distribution of wealth, resulting in a bigger wealth difference between the extreme wealthy rich and very poor.
