I’m 73 now and have lived thru all that he mentioned. Rest In Peace Sir, you not only had the trust but also the love off your fellow citizens. 43 muktar aliyu muktar aliyu 2 years ago This is a brilliant and insightful human being. I feel like I'm listening to the modern day Confucius or someone of such repute. 194 De Da De Da 2 years ago Great leader. Perhaps the greatest. Wise, visionary, pragmatic, incorruptible. Not in the business for self gain or aggrandizement. 202 Kim Jong Un Kim Jong Un 5 years ago The glitch at 5:38 scared the shit out of me. 224 monizag monizag 4 years ago Singapore government (past and present) may not be the most perfect on this planet. But travelling around with a red colored SG passport with no need for visa in major cities of the world, proves SG government had done a fantastic diplomatic job, far better than others. The iron-fist style ruling of LKY did good for SG during his time. Yes, there are disagreement in the way policies were formulated and implemented, but in general LKY had set a positive cornerstone for the present PAP members. SG50 babies would never know how this man was during his prime. I grew up in the 70s 80s during his prime in SG and his leadership shines. 207 dhg1234 dhg1234 2 years ago I cannot imagine a US president having to speak 3 or more languages. My aunties tied their breasts and cut their hair short to avoid being taken away as comfort women. Lee Kuan Yew was a man of great foresight and had the blessings of a fine team. 28 Ben Mendoza Ben Mendoza 5 years ago GREAT LEADERS are so hard to come by nowadays.... 84 Chris Ng Chris Ng 1 month ago The greatest leader by any measure.
