The former prime minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd is also a longtime student of China, with a unique vantage point to watch its power rise in the past few decades. He asks whether the growing ambition of China will inevitably lead to conflict with other major powers — and suggests another narrative.

He is so humble. 'Hi. I'm Kevin and I'm from Australia' not going on about how he was PM twice.

I watched this video the first time in class when i was studying abroad in Hong Kong in 2018, so happy to find this gem and nice gentleman on ted talk.
Now coming back again April 2020, so much have happened during the past 3 years: huawei ban, trade war, hong kong riot, coronavirus and more. It seems inevitably the relationship continues to go down the route of point of no return.
